Josie

Josie joined Mountainside Animal Hospital in February 2022, just five months after we opened, making her one of our original team members. Since starting her veterinary career in 2019, she has built strong experience in patient care, surgical assistance, and client education. Josie brings energy, humor, and a big heart to every part of her work, making her a joy for both pets and their people.

As both a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist, Josie is a well-rounded member of our team. She thrives on helping animals, problem-solving complex cases, and building strong relationships with both clients and patients. Her laughter and enthusiasm bring life to the hospital, and she is always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

Outside of work, Josie enjoys painting, playing piano, going to the gym, and spending time with her pets. Her home is full of personality and activity with Bella, her perfect cat; Bane, her feisty cat; Bazi, her ball python; and Pomegranate, her corn snake. Together, they keep life lively and the rodent population under control.
