Our Doctors
Veterinary Surgeon
Susan Tomlisson D.V.M.

Susan grew up locally in the Maple Valley area. After graduating as valedictorian from Tahoma High School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. She then headed to the United Kingdom to pursue her passion for veterinary science.

Alongside her broad education, Susan has enjoyed exploring the world extensively, including Scandinavia, Western Europe, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Japan and, of course, continues to have close ties with the United Kingdom.

Having graduated from veterinary school in 2002 and living and working in England for two years, she returned to her hometown, not only with an English husband, but also with a wealth of experience. Susan has now been practicing veterinary medicine for 19 years and been lucky enough to partner with her long-time colleagues to create their dream practice.

Outside of her veterinary career Susan keeps busy with her husband, three human children, two canine fur-babies and is an avid skier.

Veterinary Surgeon
Heather Eibey D.V.M.

Heather grew up in the Covington area, attending Kentlake High School. She graduated from Washington State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Susan and Heather have been working together since 2008.

Heather grew up in the company of German Shepherds. Watching them succumb to the incurable disease, Degenerative Myelopathy ignited her lifelong dedication to veterinary medicine. She is passionate about soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and hospice/end of life care. Heather believes our older pets can have a high quality, pain-free lives and wants to partner with pet parents to achieve this.

In her free time Heather is mom to two daughters, one golden retriever (Blitz) and two kitties (Dixie and Prancer). She enjoys running, spending time outdoors and football (Go Cougs!)
